CaO-80 is a desiccant will enable the production of vulcanizates on pressureless system without porosity due to the present of moisture in the compound.




Application:


CaO can absorb moisture to form calcium hydroxide that avoids sponge defect caused by vapour in continuous extruded vulcanization without pressure. CaO-80 is especially used for rubber compounds vulcanized by hot air, fluidized bed, salt bath or microwave devices. CaO-80 is also used for foaming products, especially porous sponge products, because it makes foam structure homogeneous.
