Product Show:
Predispersed rubber chemical CaO-80 is a desiccant provided in EPDM rubber predispersed granules. Normal CaO binds the moisture by the formation of calcium hydroxide. The enables the production of vulcanizates to be cured without pressure and which, otherwise, even in using vacuum extruders, show porosity due to the moisture still present in the compounds. This is why CaO-80 is preferably used in extrusion compounds which have to be cured continuous either in open hot air, fluid beds, salt baths or in the UHF equipment. CaO-80 and also be recommended for the use in expanded compounds, particularly in microcellular sponge, because CaO-80 provides a more uniform cell structure.
