The effects of different carbon black on the properties of vulcanizates are as follows:
(1) tensile strength
The smaller the particle size, the greater the tensile strength.When the amount of carbon black is increased to 40~50 parts, the tensile strength is the maximum.
(2) constant tensile stress
It has little to do with particle size.The higher the structure is, the greater the tensile stress is.
(3) the elongation
It has little to do with particle size.The higher the structure, the smaller the elongation.Increasing the amount of carbon black will reduce the elongation.
(4) the hardness
The smaller the particle size or the higher the structure, the higher the hardness.Carbon black content increases, hardness increases.
(5) the abrasion
The smaller the particle size, the higher the structure and the better the abrasion resistance.The consumption of carbon black increases and the abrasion performance improves.
(6) tear strength
The relationship between particle size, structure and tear strength was not obvious.When the amount of carbon black is 50~60, the tearing strength is the highest.
(7) flexural performance
The smaller the particle size, the higher the structure, the more likely to produce cracks.The rubber filled with low structure half - reinforced furnace black and high structure half - reinforced furnace black has good flexural resistance.Carbon black content increases, easy to produce cracking.
(8) thermogenic performance
The smaller the particle size or the higher the structure dry, the higher the heat generation.Low structure semi-reinforcing furnace black, high structure semi-reinforcing furnace black, general purpose furnace black and high definite extension furnace black reinforcing rubber have little heat generation.The amount of carbon black will increase the heat generation.
(9) resilience
The smaller the particle size, the worse the resilience.Resilience is independent of structure.General purpose black, low structure black and high structure black have good elasticity.When the amount of carbon black increases, the resilience decreases.
