Specification:

TBzTD accelerates the vulcanization of natural and synthetic

rubbers with a high level of processing safety. It forms no

carcinogenic nitrosamines. The addition of mercapto or sulfonamide

accelerators decelerates the vulcanization process. Scorch and vulcanization

times are reduced, the degree of crosslinking is sightly affected. Basic

accelerators such as aldehydeamine and guanidine have an additional

activating effect. It is used as a primary accelerator in the

presence of sulfur, as a secondary accelerator with thiazoles and as a sulfurfree vulcanizing agent. Crosslinking without free sulfur or low-sulfur

crosslinking produce extremely heat-resistant vulcanizates with good ageing

characteristics.
