DTDM can decompose morpholine free radicals with amine antioxidants in the rubber compound, which can make the vulcanized rubber have excellent heat and oxidation resistance. DTDM has excellent thermal properties and is ideal for the manufacture of dynamic heat-resistant rubber products. It can reduce the heat-generating NR and SNR and is an ideal rubber vulcanizing agent.
With the increase of people's environmental protection concepts and health concerns, it has been found that the vulcanizing agents DTDM and thiuram products will cleave at the vulcanization temperature to release secondary amino-based molecular fragments, which can be combined with the nitroso donor to produce carcinogens.
