Recently, Porous Pave announced that it will use more than 13 million pounds (about 5,894 tons) of recycled rubber to add its permeable paving materials in 2018.
"China Rubber" learned that Porous Pave is an environmentally friendly green building product that is a highly porous, durable and flexible paving material consisting of recycled rubber chips, chip granite aggregates and liquid binders.
Porous Pave has a porous surface with 27% void space for excellent permeability, which can penetrate rainwater and reduce runoff into storm drains and sewers. Can be placed on a permeable surface for superior application versatility and durability.
Porous Pave also introduced the enhanced formula Porous Pave XL, Porous Pave XLS, XL which combines the same amount of recycled rubber chips with kiln dry aggregate, moisture-cured liquid adhesive. The XLS formula is made of 100% rubber sheet and Made of a soft binder blend for permeable surface treatment with more impact absorption.
“13 million pounds is a new milestone, which also shows the trust of public facility managers, landscape architects and contractors in our products,” said Dave Ouwinga, president of Porous Pave.
