According to new statistics released by the general administration of customs, as of September 15, the volume of rubber exports in Vietnam this year reached nearly 950,000 tons, up 7.3% year-on-year, and the export volume was about $1.32 billion, down 12.6%.
As of September 15, Vietnam exported 77,000 tons of rubber in the month, with an export volume of $99 million. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the year, the average price of Vietnam's rubber exports was only $1,388 / ton, down 18.8% year-on-year.
According to industry analysts, the global oversupply of rubber raw materials has not been improved, the price of rubber in Vietnam has been at a low level like that of other countries, in addition, since China is one of its major exporters, the sino-us trade war has also had a negative impact on Vietnam's rubber industry.
